Luncheon meetings are held two times a year at central locations in the Fairfax County area. 


FCFRT newsletter, published four times a year, brings you news of upcoming FCFRT activities , lunch events, and articles of interest to retirees, especially legislative updates affecting retirement benefits. 


FCFRT provides ongoing activities to promote the social, professional, educational, and economic welfare of retired school educators; to meet with colleagues for the exchange of ideas and information of common interest; and to assist retired and active education employees in maximizing retirement benefits and opportunities. 


We are affiliated with the National Office of Retired Teachers through the American Federation of Teachers. We represent a strong advocacy coalition at local, state, and national levels.
